CHARACTERISTICS
 
Extremely durable
DÜKAP™ is especially suitable for areas of "heavy foot traffic". It is extremely resistant to abrasion, wear, impacts, acids, mild alkaline chemicals and cigarette burns.

Sound absorbent :
DÜKAP™ absorbs footfall sounds, noises and vibrations, consequently will not permit them to propagate to adjacent volumes in the building, thus vastly improving the acoustic quality of the location.

Safe
DÜKAP™ offers a high degree of slip resistance and permits non-slip walking even on ramps. Improves electrical insulation properties of the grounds; black colour excluded. The controlled hardness of DÜKAP™ is very comfortable to walk on and does not cause fatigue for the pedestrian.

Resilient
DÜKAP™ will not break or crack on bending, so it can be applied to curving and angled subfloors.

Economic
Compared to all other "heavy duty" abrasion-resistant flooring, DÜKAP™ imposes very little additional static loading on the building. Consequently, design loads can be minimised and substantial savings can be achieved on initial construction costs.

Easy to install
DÜKAP™ can be installed on almost any type of subfloor, even on existing flooring, using rubber, polyurethane or epoxy based adhesives.

BASIC COMPOSITION
DÜKAP™ rubber flooring are manufactured using, non oil-extended non-staining and non-discolouring Butadiene Styrene rubber (SBR) only. This rubber is fully recyclable and not harmful to the environment. Consequently DÜKAP™ rubber flooring are environmentally friendly and very healthy to use as the basic compounding factor is consumer health.

DÜKAP™ rubber flooring are fully recyclable, safe to dump and free of PVC, mineral oils, volatile substances and asbestos fibres or any such harmful materials. In a fire, they emit very little harmful smoke and exhibit extremely low levels of toxicity compared to PVC or any other "resilient" flooring. Fire retardant "AG" types are particularly designed against fire hazards as they prohibit flame propagation.

DÜKAP™ rubber flooring tiles are thus manufactured from a homogeneous mix of SBR synthetic rubber, mineral and reinforcing fillers, resins, curing agents, antioxidants, and pigments. These components are mixed, homogenised, cooled, calendered, moulded, and vulcanised. The tiles are then cooled and die-cut to standard sizes. The undersides of the tiles are sanded and the finished product is packed in 20-tile packages.

The unique rubber formulation of the flooring self-heals most scratches and abrasions, eases regular maintenance and prolongs the aesthetic appearance of the floor covering.

DÜKAP™ RUBBER FLOORING PRODUCT RANGE

Manufacturing Qualities
DÜKAP™ rubber flooring are manufactured in standard, anti-static, flame retardant and oil resistant qualities, using 4 different formulations, each designed for specific applications and service conditions. DÜKAP™ rubber flooring comply with all the applicable Turkish "TSE", German "DIN" and European "EN" standards. Standard quality DÜKAP™ tiles and stair treads are available in 8 patterns and 20 colours. Tile sizes are 500x500 or 442x442 mm. and thickness' from 3.30 to 6.00 mm. The flooring tiles can also be manufactured in custom dimensions, if the quantities involved are adequate for mould modifications.

  Standard Quality
Standard DÜKAP™ rubber flooring tiles are manufactured in accordance with the relevant "TSE", "DIN" and "EN" Standards, in all patterns, sizes and colours of our catalogue.

Anti-static Quality "AS"
DÜKAP™ anti-static tiles are manufactured in all patterns and sizes of our catalogue, utilising a special anti-static formulation. Black colour only. They are especially suitable for specific applications such as control rooms, computer rooms, laboratories, hospitals and similar places containing electronic equipment. Flooring products with electrical resistance values between 104 - 108 ohm-cm are deemed "Anti-static". Electrical measurements place our "AS" product at 105 ohm-cm which conforms with "TSE" and "DIN" specifications. A copy of the certified report by independent testing authority, confirming our values can be supplied on demand.

Flame Retardant Quality "AG"
DÜKAP™ flame retardant tiles are manufactured in all patterns, sizes and colours of our catalogue. Due to their special formulation, "AG" tiles do not propagate flames or contribute to a fire. The flame retardant characteristic of our "AG" flooring conform with the Standard "DIN 51960" and this is certified by independent testing authority. The product will self-extinguish itself immediately when the fire source is removed and this issue can simply be checked by applying a flame to the product.

Oil Resistant Quality "YD"
DÜKAP™ oil resistant tiles are manufactured in all patterns, sizes and colours of our catalogue. Due to their special formulation, "YD" tiles do not degrade by mineral oil, grease or solvent contamination.

Size: 500x500 mm; 1 mm raised pastille design surface plus 3 mm smooth back. Overall thickness: 4 mm.

Raised Pastille Design "ST/SL"
Size: 500 x 500 mm; 0.3 mm raised pastille design surface plus 3 mm. smooth back. Overall thickness: 3:3 mm.

Square Design "KD"
Size: 500 x 500 mm; 1 mm raised square design surface plus 3 mm smooth back. Overall thickness: 4 mm.

Square Design "KD/SL"
Size: 500 x 500 mm; 0.3 mm raised square design surface plus 3 mm. smooth back. Overall thickness: 3.3 mm.

Smooth Design "DZ"
Size: 500 x 500 mm; both surface and back smooth. Overall thickness: 4 mm.

Smooth Design "DZ/DS"
Size: 500 x 500 mm; overall thickness: 4 mm. Both surface and back smooth. Surface design is formed by a combination of matt and glossy patterns.

Raised Pastille Design "HD"
Size: 442x442 mm; 1 mm raised pastille design surface plus 5 mm smooth back. Overall thickness: 6 mm.

Smooth Design "HD"
Size 442x442 mm; overall thickness: 6 mm. Both the surface and back smooth.


DÜKAP™ RUBBER STAIR TREADS



 Width: 1165 mm, 40 mm. nosing, 480 mm tread plus riser. Overall thickness: 4 mm including the raised pastille "ST" or raised square "KD" surface design.



DÜKAP™ MARINE "non-slip"


 EPDM rubber based "non-slip" deck coverings with specially roughened surfaces ensuring absolute slip safety. Sheet size: 2.5x500x1000 mm. The product is specifically designed for marine environments and can be installed on GRP, wood or metal surfaces.
